NEW HOPE IS JUST OVER THE HORIZON
Blue Horizons Academy is a Sober High School offering a path to recovery for teens who struggle with addiction. An environment with compassionate and experienced professionals to guide students through their journey of getting to a better place in their lives. We are creating an academic sanctuary where each student can learn to overcome their challenges and lead a more productive life.

WE EMBRACE
The fact that teens struggle with
drug and alcohol abuse is nothing
new. Thousands of students deal
with the mental, emotional, relational, and physical traumas that make this a problem that we can’t ignore.
In Georgia, the number of overdoses
have tripled since 2000 and now is the number one cause of death for young people.

We believe at the foundation of our program are the clinical and emotional facts that draw a line between being a school and being a
bridge to true lifechanging habits. We are the latter. In becoming the first sober academy for teens in the state of Georgia, we are committed to connecting with resources that
create sustainable funding and the team to make Blue Horizons a model for other institutions and an answer for students and their families to wholeness.

OUR STAFF
Our team of professionals represents years of leadership in addiction recovery, academia, and counseling to youth. We all have a true passion for uplifting the spirit of youth and take this responsibility very seriously. We believe its because we have all dealt with someone we know that has walked the path of recovery and we know its journey and not just a job, its our lives.
